Changes for the 2012 Model
Every year, automakers tend to make several adjustments to their vehicles in between major new model launches, and that is the case for the 2012 Ford F-150. Drivers can expect to see the following adjustments:
- The Lariat Limited model will not be returning for 2012.
- Ford has made several transfer case upgrades to the 4x4 models as electronic shift-on-the-fly replaces the manual shifter.
- A new torque on demand AWD system will now come standard on all Lariat trims and above.
- Four-way adjustable headrests will be standard on all trims except the XL.
- A convenient new trailer brake controller will now be standard on the Harley Davidson model.
