What to Expect From the 2013 Ford Ranger in Oswego and the Surrounding Areas

At River View Ford, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the 2013 Ford Ranger in Oswego, Naperville, Montgomery, and Aurora. We’ve been proudly supplying drivers in northern Illinois with the latest Ford cars, trucks, and SUVs for years along with an extensive selection of pre-owned vehicles from a number of different manufacturers. Of course, our selection isn’t the only thing that makes us stand out from other dealers in the area — at River View Ford, we also strive to provide the best possible customer service, because we want you car-shopping experience to be fantastic.
While it wasn’t available in the U.S., the 2012 Ranger gave drivers the option of either a 2.2L four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine or a 200-hp 3.2L five-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that produces an impressive 347 lb-ft of torque. This is a level of power consistent with that of some V8 engines, proving yet again that Ford is devoted to giving Ranger drivers the functionality of much larger pickups in a smaller, more convenient package. We expect to see similar options for 2013, and we certainly hope we’re right, because while it’s similar in size to the smaller F-150 models, the Ranger is the more fuel-efficient truck. We’ll keep area drivers updated with the latest specs and information as soon as we know more.
Drivers in the Naperville Area Are Excited About the New Ford Ranger
As drivers in Naperville and Aurora can tell you, the 2012 edition of the Ranger didn’t make it to the United States. Ford has made some recent changes to the Ranger line, including increasing the size of the popular compact pickup in order to make it more capable. While we aren’t sure yet what exactly to expect from the upcoming 2013 model, drivers in Oswego and Montgomery are looking forward to more of the same great functionality packed into an efficient, comfortable design that they’ve come to love in the Ford Ranger. While it wasn’t available in the U.S., the 2012 Ranger gave drivers the option of either a 2.2L four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine or a 200-hp 3.2L five-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that produces an impressive 347 lb-ft of torque.
