With an upgraded exterior for 2013, Ford’s popular sedan is back and better than ever. Four distinct trim levels ensure that there’s something here for every driver, especially when the basic Taurus SE is both well-equipped and starts at just $26,700 (MSRP).

•   The SE trim sports LED taillights, automatic headlights, keypad-based entry, cruise control, a six-speaker stereo system, and a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat atop 17-inch alloy wheels.
•  Upgrading to the Taurus SEL brings the wheels up to 18 inches and adds on dual-zone climate control, remote start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, upgraded upholstery, satellite radio, Ford Sync, and more.
•   The Limited trim carries perforated leather upholstery, wood trim, eight way power front seating, and all of the features of the previous trim levels.
•   For the top-of-the-line, drivers can get behind the wheel of the Taurus SHO, which features a more powerful V6 engine to the other trim levels as well as all-wheel drive, paddle shifters, a sport-tuned suspension, a unique leather upholstery, and xenon headlights.

The three standard trims come equipped with a 3.5L V6 that is flex-fuel ready and capable of 290 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque while still offering a 29 mpg highway fuel economy. Drivers can also upgrade to a 2.0L four-cylinder turbocharged engine rated for 240 hp, 270 lb-ft of torque, and 32 highway mpg.

The Taurus SHO has a 3.5L twin-turbocharged engine under the hood, bringing 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque for a 0-60 mph time of 5.8 seconds.
