At River View Ford in Oswego, we do more than just sell quality vehicles to friends, neighbors, and family. We’re dedicated to participating in and giving back to our community in a variety of ways. The following is a list of community events that take place right here in our own backyard. Feel free to come out to upcoming events or read all about what you missed. ANNUAL CHRISTMAS SLEIGH RIDE EVENT

Families love the holiday season, which is why Hennessey’s River View Ford is committed to providing the most fun. Not only did we have Santa, reindeer, and a horse-drawn sleigh, but the Grinch came by, too! The children were able to have pictures taken with Santa, and the reindeer farm was a big draw for parents and children of all ages. Attendees were also able to donate nonperishable food items to the food drive we participate in, to help ensure nobody goes hungry on Christmas.

ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL OF SAVINGS

Bringing our local community and families together is what we like doing best at River View Ford, and thanks to our annual Fall Festival of Savings, people had a great time! The petting zoo was an absolute hit with the kids, as well as our little pumpkin patch, which allowed kids to pick out a pumpkin just in time for Halloween. People also enjoy the food and refreshments provided!During this event, we offer special deals on select models that aren’t available at any other time. We plan to keep the tradition alive for many years to come, so make sure to take part in our annual Fall Festival of Savings!

OSWEGO EAST HIGH SCHOOL

With many programs for the students of Oswego East High School helping them become better leaders for tomorrow. By following their code of Excellence, Academics, Spirit and Tradition.

JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION ILLINOIS SPONSOR

As a dedicated Illinois sponsor for the JDRF, River View Ford is always happy to receive donations to help find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. The Ford Motor Company has been involved with the JDRF since 1983 with Ford being its largest global sponsor.

USO BARBECUE FOR THE TROOPS

The USO BBQ for the Troops helps raise funds for USO programs. These important programs support deployed troops, military families, soldiers who were wounded in action, ill or injured troops, and families of the fallen. The USO BBQ was a great way to share a meal together to celebrate the efforts of current and past heroes who serve our country.

DRIVE 4 UR SCHOOL

At Oswego East High School, River View Ford hosts a fundraiser for Oswego East that raises money for sports and other extracurricular activities. For every test drive, Ford pays $20. Test driving a Ford itself is free to the event attendee with zero pressure.
