When you press the EV button, the Fusion Energi Plug-In will only operate on battery and electric motor power until it needs to switch to the combustion engine. Even then, the Fusion Energi can do a forcefully acceleration without having to switch to the gas engine on its own, and it will notify you when it needs to with a simple notification.
- MyFord Mobile App: This application comes standard with the new Fusion Energi and it lets you monitor the charging of your vehicle from anywhere. You can schedule charging as well by checking charge levels, locate the nearest charging station, and find the most efficient route to get there. This app can also remotely lock or unlock the doors or even remote start the vehicle, too.
