Drive 4 UR School Raises Money for Oswego East High School
Oswego and Naperville residents have always seen River View Ford as part of the community, and we were thrilled to take part in the Drive 4 UR School program. The event took place at Oswego East High School, raising money for the school while offering local drivers the chance to test drive a brand new Ford vehicle.
The Drive 4 UR School Program
The Drive 4 UR School initiative aims to raise much needed money to support school teams, booster clubs, and other extracurricular activities. Dealerships like River View Ford are able to partner with a local school for a one-day test-drive event. $20 is donated to the participating high school for each drive taken, up to $6,000.
That means that valued school programs will get the resources they deserve, all while letting people experience the new range of Ford vehicles, with no cost to either the school or the drivers. That’s what we call a win-win situation!
Our River View Ford Event
River View Ford took part in a Drive 4 UR School Program in August with Oswego East High School, just a five-minute drive from the dealership itself. While helping the local community, drivers were able to take a drive in models such as the 2015 Ford Mustang, the 2015 Ford Explorer, and the 2015 Ford F-150.
Thanks to Drive 4 UR School, the team at River View Ford was able to join with area drivers to raise money for a variety of Oswego East High School’s extracurricular programs and teams.
Continuing the Serve the Community
Of course, this year’s Drive 4 UR School Program is just one of the ways in which River View Ford dedicates itself to giving a little something back to the community, with other events including:
- Annual Christmas Sleigh Ride Event
- Annual Fall Festival of Savings
- USO Barbecue for the Troops
You can help the community throughout the year with River View Ford.
