That’s why we’re excited about the 2016 Ford Flex, a large crossover wagon with enough seats for either six or seven passengers. With a long list of equipment, impressive key features, and a great price, the Ford Flex is quickly becoming one of the best vehicles on the road. Let’s take a look at the different trim levels available, including prices and equipment, so you can find the Ford Flex that is right for you.

The SE Trim

Starting out, the SE Trim is the base level of the Ford Flex and has a 3.5L V6 engine under the hood that produces up to 287 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque. The EPA estimates this model’s fuel economy at 16 city/23 hwy/19 combined mpg. Some features you’ll find as standard equipment on this model include 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, rear parking sensors, heated mirrors, keyless entry, auto-dimming rearview mirror, cruise control, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and a 4.2-inch touchscreen. The starting price for the SE is $29,600.

The SEL Trim

The SEL Trim is the next trim up for the 2016 Flex, and it also has the same 3.5L V6 engine. The SEL comes with the option of upgrading to AWD, which alters the estimated mpg to 16 city/22 hwy/18 combined. Some features coming standard on the SEL include 18-inch wheels, upgraded brakes, foglights, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a Sync 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen. There is a 201A optional package of equipment, which includes a 110-volt power outlet and a 202A package that includes a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, driver memory settings, and more. The starting price of the SEL is $32,300.

The Limited

The Limited trim is at the top of the line and comes with the same 3.5L engine, with options for FWD or AWD, or an upgraded and optional EcoBoost 3.5L V6 that produces 365 hp. Though this upgraded engine offers more power, it also offers greater efficiency with the estimated mpg remaining unchanged. Some features you’ll find inside the Limited trim include 19-inch wheels, xenon headlights, power-folding mirrors, and navigation system with real-time traffic. There is an available 301A package that adds an automatic parallel parking system, adaptive cruise control, and frontal collision alert, plus more. The starting price of the Limited model is $37,800.
